Kumki gets 7 awards- Vikram Prabhu thanks Tamil Nadu Chief Minister

Every year Tamil Nadu State Government gives awards for the nest Tamil films, actors, actresses and technicians. Apart from this, the government also gives awards to the students of M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute.


Accordingly the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami had announced the film awards for the years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. For the year 2011, the film Kumki received was given seven awards. The film bagged the best film award, best actress, best actor, best music composer, best playback singer, best female playback singer and best cinematographer. In view of this, the crew is in cloud nine.


Speaking about this, Vikram Prabhu said, “7 awards were given to the crew members who worked in Kumki. I am also proud that I am the part of this film, I am very thankful to the Tamil Nadu State Government for honoring us. I am also thankful for all those who are cooperating with us.”
