You should not see the vulgarity in the film Delhi Belly. There is a message beyond that. We should also see that. This film is about three youths who stay in a mansion and how they struggle to achieve their goals. I am making this film which will suit all the members of the Tamil families.

I felt that Hansika would be suitable for her role. So I went to narrate the story to her. When I told her it is Delhi Belly story, she really got startled. Then I convinced her and told that Arya was the hero of this film. She agreed when I told her that this film will be a great hit.

It is understood that Anjali is also rocking with Hansika in this film?

Yeah. If Hansika is Ooty plum, Anjali is a local tomato. Anjali wanted to reduce her weight. I told her not reduce the weight I asked her to be fluffy but she was Upset. Anjali took lots of efforts and reduced her weight. Now she has the looks of a fresh sun flower.

Santhanam must have kept some nicknames for these girls?

Wherever Santhanam is there, there will be noise. The roommates in the mansion are Arya, Premgi and Santhanam. Arya is a reporter whereas Premgi is a cartoonist. Santhanam writes rumours. He writes rumours about actresses in the centre page of a magazine and because of this he has a great number of fan followers. Santhanam’s name is Nadupakka Nakki which means licker of centre page. For fun sake, Anjali interviews Santhanam at the shooting spot. She asked him," Why is you name Nakki (Licker)? Santhanam immediately joked, "People call Vikram as Vicky, Venkatesan as Venky. Similarly I shortened my name Nagaraj as Nakki." We kept this scene in the film. Anjali could not control her laughter.
