Tamil Film Director EzhilEzhil debuted as a director by directing the film titled Thulladha Manamum Thullum which had Vijay in the lead role. His first film itself was a great hit. He continued to direct romantic films.

Recently he directed a comical romantic film titled Manam Kothi Paravai which had Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. This film turned out to be a great hit. Ezhil who is now in high spirits while speaking to the media said, "The film Manam Kothi Paravai is different from my earlier films. This film has romance and comedy.

There was a good reception for this film throughout Tamil Nadu. The distributors are also very happy because this film has yielded great profits. These days, youngsters do not have the patience to sit in the theatres and watch movies. I am scared to direct romantic films like Thulladha Manam Thullum and Poovellam Un Vaasam. I have decided to direct comedy films which the audience like. Next I will be directing a comedy film."
