For the first time, Ilayaraja is composing music for Gautham Menon’s film. He while speaking to the media said, " I am producing a film titled Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum. Prem Sai is directing this film.

The shooting of this film commenced yesterday. The audio CD of Neethane En Ponvasantham will be released during the first week of July. It could be on 1st July itself. The songs of this film will catch the fancy of everyone. The film will be released during the month of August or September. I don’t want to get lost in ‘Maatran’ waves.

I am also producing a film titled Thanga Meengal. This is a very soft film. This film is to be released soon. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music. The audio CD will be released in two weeks. Ram who has directed this film is a wonderful person. I will be directing a film titled Yohan which will have Vijay in the lead role. The shooting of this action oriented film will commence during the month of July."
