This film which was directed by Lingusamy was released in the year 2005 but this film did not do well at the box office.

Now after seven years, there is news that Ajith and Lingusamy are going to join hands once again.

When asked Lingusamy was asked about it, he said, "Now Ajith has become a star then those days of Ji. If I have to direct him now, I have to pen the screenplay keeping in mind his star status. I am not directing a film for him."

Currently Lingusamy is busy in the story discussion of a film which will have Surya in the lead role. Surya after completing Singam 2 will participate in the shooting of the film to be directed by Lingusamy.
