Venkat Prabhu advises his assistant director not to make serious films

Tamil Movie Director Venkat PrabhuVenkat Prabhu has advised his assistant director to direct jolly good films. R Venkatesan has worked as an assistant to Venkat Prabhu in the films Soroja, Goa and Mankatha. He is directing a film titled Nalanum Nandhiniyum.

Venkatesan while speaking about this said, "When I worked with Venkat Prabhu as an assistant director I learnt the nuances of film making. His films will have all the commercial ingredients such as romance and comedy.

When I told him that I am going to direct Nalanum Nandhiniyum, he advised me not to make a serious film but a jolly good film. The story was also as per his advice. This is a wholesome romantic film. I have given importance to two characters. Michael is the hero of this film. Nanditha who had acted in the film Attakathi is the heroine of this film.

Apart from them, Jayaprakash, Renuka and Bhanuchandar are also in the cast. Nishar has handled the camera while newcomer Ashwath is composing the music for this film. The producer Ravinder who is producing this film is working as an I T Consultant with United Nations Organization. He is producing this film because he has a great passion for cinema. The shooting of this film has taken place in Madurai, Erode and Chennai."
