Music Review – Sarvam

Followed by the grand success of ‘Kurumbu’, ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’, ‘Pattiyal’ and ‘Billa’, the duo combo Vishnuvardhan-Yuvan Shankar Raja is back in town with yet another chartbusters. The album comprises of 6 melodies with different genres.

Tamilomovie brings you the exclusive music review of Sarvam…

1.    Adada Vaada

Singers: Ilayaraja, Yuvan Shankar Raja

Wanna know what’s so highlighting about the song? It’s all about dad and son coming together. Yuvan and Ilayaraja make the song so stylish. The beats are stupendous with a mesmerizing preludes on flute and good orchestration indeed.

2. Neethanae

Singers: Yuvan Shankar Raja

The song has picked so well right more from the day of launch. It’s frequently aired across the FM stations. Yuvan’s voice is top-notching and that turns the spotlights on the song.

3. Sutta Suriyanae

Singers: Vijay Yesudas

The ever finest best splendiferous tune amongst all the songs in this album…. Trust us! It’s the old song that this starts off with. Before many years, it was crooned by Yesudas and now his son Vijay takes off with it…

4. Kaatru Kullae

Singer: Yuvan Shankar Raja

Highlighting attribute is that the song has an unique rhythm of ‘waters falling in drops’. Check out the song and find the excitement. Yuvan’s voice is transfixing and the lyrics are all about a young lad’s pursuit of his love.

5. Siragugal

Singer:  Madhushree, Javed Ali

Madhushree and Javed Ali make it happen. The guy who sang for Rahman’s ‘Masakali’ for Delhi-6 is here with a completely different intonation. The duo makes a good pair and all the music directors should heed to this if you are on the verge of getting new playback singers for your compositions.

6. Theme Music

Yuvan Shankar Raja who enthralled the listeners with his spellbinding theme music for Ajith starrer ‘Billa’ is back with yet another one that will overbeat the previous one. The signature music starts with a Sri Lankan ‘Bayila – style’ that symbolizes fun, happiness and love while suddenly the paradigms are shifted into a different mood of action-packed thriller… If this has shot your adrenalines, don’t miss this piece for you will keep heeding to it again and again.

Verdict: On the whole, Sarvam has got good music for the viewers who were yearning out for a better music from Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Final Take – Don’t miss it…
