Since he is frequently visiting Mumbai and overseas, he has to stay in star hotels. In order to avoid this, he has purchased his own houses in some foreign countries. Similarly he has purchased two luxury apartments in Mumbai.
When he composes music for Tamil films he uses his own studio in Chennai. He has the habit composing music throughout the night. When composing music for Hindi films, he has to stay in a star hotel and also search for a studio which has modern facilities. He has to spend a lot of time in searching the studios. In order to avoid this, he has purchased two houses in Mumbai. In one of the apartments he has built a hi-tech studio will all the latest equipments. He had recently visited these houses with his wife.
