 A R Rahman cheerfully said that he was invited to the White House by American President Obama. Miami University in America had decided to honour music composer A R Rahman with a doctorate.

 After composing music for the Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya directed by Gowtham Menon, A R Rahman has not composed music for any Tamil films. Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya was released 2010.

 The shooting of the film which has Siddarth in the lead role is to beginning during the month of April. This film is being produced by director Vetrimaaran under the banner Green Root Productions. G V Prakash is composing the music. Dayanidhi Azhagiri is also co-producing this film.
