Cinematographer and director Rajeev Menon has directed two short films Saji Brana and Seetha for his Mind Screen Institute students. Play back singer Karthik had composed and acted in Saji Brana.
When asked him about this, he said,” Rajeev Menon had called me to sing for this film. Two Bharathanatiyam artists have acted in this film. Rajeev asked me to do a small role. I did the role of a blind man. People who saw this film appreciated my action. I will not continue to act in films. My priority is always for singing and songs. I will continue to concentrate on this.”
