While there were lots of buzzes rounding upon airs that it could be either Keerthy Suresh or Samantha playing the female lead role in Thalapathy 63, it is now a surprise to see that Nayanthara is onboard for the movie. The film is directed by Atlee, which is marking the third time collaboration with Vijay after Mersal and Theri.
Archana Kalpathi is producing this film for AGS Entertainment with Vijay playing the lead role and Vivek joining the actor after a long time on the big screens. The film has musical score by AR Rahman and cinematography is being handled with GK Vishnu with Anl Arasu choreographing stunts and Vivek writing lyrics. Last time, we saw Vijay and Nayanthara sharing the screen space together was the film ‘Villu’, which was directed by Vignesh Shivn.
Vijay’s recent release ‘Sarkar’ is faring well in box office with huge collections. Already AR Rahman has composed music for Vijay’s movies like Udhaya, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan, Mersal and Sarkar. This is learnt through the close sources that the film might be based on the lines of Chak De India.
