Suresh Sangaiah, former associate of Kaakka Muttai fame Manikandan makes his debut directorial with the film ‘Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu’, which has already gained international recognition in many festivals.
The film stars Viddarth and Raveena as newly married couple and their family members as thanksgiving decide to sacrifice a goat’s life. The family members of this couple around 50 members travel by lorry towards the other village.
On the way amidst deep forest, Viddarth starts driving the lorry as his wife loves to see him do it. Unexpectedly, the lorry hits over a boy, who accidentally crossed the path and gets killed. Now the entire bunch of family members are perplexed over the decision whether to desolate the victim in the forest, bury him or report to police. The entire drama revolves around the confusions and confrontations among the family members.
Some of the highlighting traits about the film is the realistic story and the inclusion of humorous episodes into the serious drama is worthy of appreciations. Not to miss the best performances of actors, who have done a neat job… On the flip side, there are few minuses like few portions in the first half followed by the episodes involving lawyer.
The film will definitely impress the family audiences and the groups that love to watch realistic movies.
