Filmmaker Pa Ranjith might have not been involved in the promotions of ‘Kabali’ across Tamil Nadu as there wasn’t any audio launch or any press conference. But he seems to have spoken something about the film’s gist over the audio of Telugu Kabali album that was held last evening in Hyderabad.
Interacting with some media channels, he opened upon the gist of this film saying, “It all happened before Indian Independence, when British took our Indian, especially Tamilian laborers from our country to Malaysia. They thrust their power and pressure upon them to work as slaves at Rubber factories and plantations…” Saying Ranjith added up that Superstar Rajinikanth appears as Kabali, a revolutionist, who raises their voice against them in standing up the rights of the innocent people suffering there.
The film is getting ready for censor screening and it is expected to happen somewhere in next couple of days. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and has musical score by Santhosh Narayanan. The film features Radhika Apte as Rajinikanth’s wife and Dhansika reportedly as his daughter. According to the sources, the film’s release might be happening on July 15.
