February 24 marks the festive occasion of Maha Shivarathri and initially, Vijay Antony’s upcoming film Yaman was reported of hitting screens. The film is directed by Jeeva Shankar, who had earlier directed Vijay Antony’s ‘Naan’.
Yaman is a political thriller, which is produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation in association with Lyca Productions. Miya George is playing the female lead role in this film and others in the cast include Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Thiyagarajan, Charlie and many others. The other release for the festive occasion was Gautham Karthik’s Muthuramalingam, which has Priya Anand romancing him.
The latest addition to the festival day is Raghava Lawrence’s Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva, which is directed by Sai Ramani of ‘Singam Puli’ fame and is produced by Super Good Films. The film was initially supposed to hit screens on February 17, but on the spur of moment was moved out. Now the official word is out that it would be hitting screens on February 24 along with Yaman and Muthuramalingam. Nikki Galrani plays the female lead role in Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva, which has Raai Laxmi shaking legs for an item number alongside Raghava Lawrence.
