Surya to don Ajith’s role

As far as Tamil film industry is concerned, the combination of Surya and Gautham are supposed to be lucky. The films Kaakha Kaakha and Vaaranam Aayiram which had the combination of them turned out to be super duper hits.

Once again Surya and Gautham Menon are going to join hands. The film is titled Thuppariyum Anandan. This film is being produced by Gautham Menon. This film is a wholesome action films on the lines of James Bond films.

The shooting of this film will commence once the shooting of Yohan which has Vijay in the lead role has been completed. Surya while speaking about this film said, " Whenever I join hands with Gautham Menon, there will be lots of expectations among people because there will be romance, good songs and action sequences. Thuppariyum Anandan will also have the same ingredients. There will also be more interesting factors in this film. So far Tamil film industry would not have seen such a film."

Earlier Ajith was supposed to don the lead role in Thuppariyum Anandan. Since Ajith walked out of this film, the opportunity has gone to Surya.
