There was a great sensation when both of them spilt at the time of their marriage. Nayanthara had quit acting in order to marry Prabhu Deva. She who was a Christian embraced Hinduism for the sake of Prabhu Deva. Prabhu Deva had also divorced his first wife but at the last minute both of them split due to severe difference of opinions. Nayanthara had mentioned that Prabhu Deva is not a fit person to be loved.
Now Prabhu Deva has opened his mouth with this regard. In a talk with him: What is your problem with Nayanthara and why did you split with her?
All these days I kept quiet about this matter. Now I want to answer this question but something prevents me from doing so. Hence I don’t want to talk about this. Don’t ask anything about her. This is a finished matter. I don’t keep this in my mind. I have forgotten all these things and I am going forward in my career. That is my policy.
Nayanthara has mentioned that she split with you because you did not have honesty and loyalty towards her?
Nayanthara has every right to speak openly. There is no necessity for me to reply for all these things. Whatever she says will not affect me. I have great faith in God. As far as I am concerned everything happens according to the will of the God. He will guide me in the right path.
About your next films?
I am eagerly waiting for the release of the Tamil film Kalavadiya Pozhudugal in which I have donned the lead role. This film is directed by Thangar Bachan. My films in Hindi are doing well. If I get good offers in Tamil I will come there. I am thinking about doing another film with Salman Khan. There is no truth in the news that I am going to remake the Rajni starrer Basha in Hindi.
