Ajith has been invited for a cameo role in Sridevi’s film

Tamil Actor Ajith and Actress SrideviSridevi was the number one heroine in Tamil. She also rocked in Hindi films. She was the only leading actress in the 70s and 80s.Later on she married the Hindi producer Bony Kapoor and quit acting.

After a long Sabbath, she is acting in a film titled English Vinglish. The story of this film is about a housewife who suffers because she does not know English. This film is being produced in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.

Rajni was approached to do a cameo in the Tamil version. Rajnikanth and Sridevi had paired in numerous Tamil films. Rajnikanth has refused citing his health conditions.Now Ajith has been approached. One of the important crew member of English Vinglish said, "We had requested Ajith to do a cameo role in our film. We are holding talks with him regard to do this." It is understood that Ajith is likely to act in this film.
