This film is being remade in Tamil. Sarathkumar is donning the role of a police officer. He while speaking to us said, "I agreed to act in this film because the story of film is about organ donor. I have already donated my organs to a private Trust near Guruvayur.

The Malayalam film Traffic is based on the real incident which took place in Chennai. The story of this film is how people forget their own problems and try to save the life of another person. Cheran, Prakash Raj, Radhika, Ramya Nambeesan, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Kitty and Sachin are also acting in this film. The shooting of this film is going on in top gear. Shahid Khader is directing this film. Major Joseph is composing the music. This film is jointly produced by Magic Frames and I Pictures."
