Samantha to pair with Karthi

Karthi is donning the lead role in the film titled Biryani. Venkat Prabhu after Mankatha is directed this film. He has titled this film as Biryani with a tagline A Venkat Prabhu Diet.

The script is in the final stages and because of this he also did not attend the birthday bash hosted by actress Sona. At this point of time, Venkat Prabhu was wondering that who would be the suitable heroine of his film.

Finally Venkat Prabhu chose to cast Samantha in the female lead role. In the recent times, Samantha is the most sought after heroine in Kollywood. Though she had acted in two Tamil films, she is a leading actress as far as Telugu film industry is concerned.

She is currently acting in Manirathnam’s Kadal and Gowtham Menon’s Nee Thane Pon Vasantham. Apart from this numerous producers and directors are approaching her. It seems that she will soon become number one actress in the Tamil film industry.
