Vetriselvan is a film which has Ajmal and Radhika Apte in the lead roles. This film is being directed by Rudran. The final schedule of shooting took place in Woodlands Theatre located in Royapettah.

Radhika who participated in this shooting while speaking to the media said, " I have acted in Ratha Charithram and Dhoni. Vetriselvan is my third film in Tamil. I am donning the role of an advocate who is straightforward in profession and kind hearted in real life.

This film has a good storyline and has also a strong message. I have betrothed to a London based musician Benedict Taylor. My marriage date is yet to be fixed. I will continue to act in films even after my marriage. I will select good roles in Tamil and act in them. Unlike my earlier films, Vetriselvan is a commercial film."
