Manmadha Ambu is a film in which Kamal Haasan is joining hands with K S Ravikumar once again after Avvai Shanmughi, Thenali, Panchathanthiram and Dasavatharam.

The story of this romantic comedy films speaks about the relationship of people in a floating luxury cruise liner.

Udhayanidhi Stalin is producing this film under the banner Red Giant Movies.

Trisha is for the first time pairing with Kamal Haasan in this film.

The story of the film begins in Paris and has been shot in the important ports of European countries including Barcelona, Genoa.

The shooting of the film has also taken place in Italy, Rome and Venice. Some of the shooting has taken place in Chennai and Kodaikanal.

Most of the story takes place in a cruise liner in the Mediterranean sea.

The film illustrates the relationships of people in a comical way.

The audio launch programmes of Manmadha Ambu which has Kamal Haasan and Trisha in the lead roles is to be telecast by Vijay TV. Vijay TV has acquired the telecasting rights of this programme for a huge price.

Many in Kollywood are wondering why these rights have been given to Vijay TV when producer Udhayanidhi Stalin family owns Kalaignar TV. Vijay TV will be telecasting this audio launch which is to take place for two days in Singapore Expo and in a big luxury cruise liner. The audio launch is to take place on 20th of this month. But Vijay TV will be telecasting curtain raiser programmes on 18th and 19th of this month. 300 people who were selected for this programme will participate. The audio launch will be attended by 7000 people. Kamal Hassan and Devi Sri Prasad will sing with numerous Brazilian and Chinese singers. Now Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth are joining for first time in the Tamil remake of Three Idiots.
