Director Shankar’s next film is titled 'I'

What will be the film of director Shankar after Nanban? This was the hot topic of Kodambakkam. There were various news regarding this. Now Shankar has officially announced about his next film.

After Anniyan, Shankar will be joining hands with Vikram in a film which is titled I. This film is being produced by Aascar Ravichandran. For the first time cinematographer P C Sriram will be handling the camera for a Shankar’s film.

Vikram is donning the lead role while Samantha is pairing with him. Santhanam and Suresh Gopi are donning important roles in this film. For the first time Sivaji Ganesan’s first son and Prabhu’s elder brother Ram Kumar is donning an important role in this film.

In Tamil 'I' means beauty, king, vulnerability (softness/gentleness) etc. Hollywood costume designer Mary Vogt of "Men in Black" fame will be the costume designer. A R Rahman who will be composing music for this film has already composed one song for this film.
