Kamal released the First Look of his film in the Cannes Film Festival. There was news that he is donning dual role in this film. There is no truth in this news. He is donning the role called Viswanathan alias Vis.

In the role Viswanathan, Kamal is a Kathak dances while Vis dons the role of FBI agent. It is understood that Kamal has shot excessive sequences for Viswaroobam. He wants to utilize these scenes in the Part 2 of Viswaroobam.

Kamal while speaking about this said, "When we commenced the shooting of Viswaroobam I was confident that this film will have a good reception among the people and because of this I had planned to make Part 2 of Viswaroobam. 40% shooting of Viswaroobam Part 2 has been completed. Viswaroobam will be of its kind as far as Indian film industry in concerned. This film has handled the issues of National and foreign countries.
