Director Bala who had given films like Sethu, Nandha, Pithamagan, Naan Kadavul and Avan Ivan has now directed a film titled Paradesi. This film has a different kind of story. This film is based on the real incidents that have taken place in the year 1930.

Adharva, Vedika and Dhanshika are starring in this film. G V Prakash Kumar has composed music for this film. Paradesi has been shot back-to-back in Salur and Manamadurai in Sivagangai district, in parts of Kerala- Munnar and Talaiyar and the forest areas of Kannakarai in Theni district. Bala has for the first time completed this film in 90 days. The trailer and the audio CD of this film is being released on 19th September in London.
