Tamil film Suryan is being remade

Suryan is a silver jubilee film which had Sarathkumar and Roja in the cast. This film was released in the year 1992.

This film which was produced K T Kunjumon and directed by Pavithran.

For the first time Prabhu Deva donned the role of a dancer and for the first time Sarathkumar had shaved his head. Goundamani’s comedy in this film is much spoken about even today.

Like the film, the songs composed by Deva were also great hits. Director Pavithran has now decided to remake this film now.

He has got the permission from producer K T Kunjumon to remake this film in Tamil and Hindi. It is understood that Vishal will be donning the role of Sarathkumar while Roja’s role will be donned by Varalakshmi who is the daughter of Sarathkumar.

In Hindi, there is news that either Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan might don the lead role. Pavithran has now decided to produce this high budgeted film. There will be changes in the screenplay to suit the present day situations.
