Just before a day, we had affirmed that Ajith Kumar’s Vedalam would be re-released with a special screening on November 10 marking first anniversary of the movie, which was released for last year Diwali. The venue was actually Rohini Silver Screens in Koyambedu and initially there was only one show at 6.45 p.m. But to their unexpected levels of surprise, the show tickets were booked up immediately and everyone turned so much inquisitive to see that the demand grew up monstrously. Now the theatre owners have increased the shows from 1 to 4. At 6.45 p.m. there would be two shows followed by next shows at 7 p.m. and 10.15 p.m. So far, many films have been re-released for a show to celebrate the anniversaries, but this is the first ever time, a film being re-released after a year is getting multiple shows at the same time.
Ajith Kumar’s Vedalam was produced at a whopping budget by AM Ratnam and directed by Siva, who teamed up with Ajith Kumar before ‘Veeram’ and is now currently working on AK 57 AS WELL.
