Vetrimaaran breaks the secret of Vada Chennai getting ‘A’ Certificate

After the stupendous success of Visaranai, Vetrimaaran is directing a film titled Vada Chennai. Dhanush is donning the lead role. Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea, Daniel Balaji, Kishore, directors Samuthirakani, Ameer and Subramanian Siva are donning important roles. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music while Velraj is handling the camera. Venkatesh is editing the film. Dhanush is producing this gangster thriller film under the banner Wunderbar Films. This film is to be produced in three parts. Now the shooting of the part 1has been completed.

The post-production works which were going on in full swing has come to an end. There was an overwhelming response for the first look poster, songs and teaser. It has been decided to release the film on 17th October. 


It was also announced that the film will be screened at the second Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival (PYIFF), China. At this juncture, Dhanush has mentioned that the film has been certified with an A certificate.

While interacting with media channels, Vetrimaaran said, “We have tried capturing the lifestyle of a group out there, which has some profane languages, which are not offensively used, but with sweetness too. So censor board committee members suggested us to go for A or else get them muted for UA. Henceforth, we decided to have ‘A’ certificate as muting them will do unjust to the movie.”
