Now and then, there has been consecutive news about Vijay Sethupathi’s new projects. He has lined up more and more projects that are at different stages of production. It is a little disappointment to his fans that the most expected film Puriyadha Puthir was supposed to hit screens tomorrow for the festive occasion of Pongal, but didn’t happen due to some reasons on the spur of moment. Meanwhile, the actor has already completed shooting for KV Anand’s Kavan and his portions in Madhavan starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’. The films are scheduled for release before the half yearly completion of 2017. Meanwhile, he has started to work on his new project tentatively titled ‘Karuppan’ from today. The film’s pooja was held this morning followed by shooting, which would go on across the backdrops of village near Dindugal for a single stretch of 70 days. Initially, it was cited that Trisha would be seen playing the female lead role in this movie, which didn’t happen due to some reasons. Later, the names like Lakshmi Menon too had hit the considerations, but now makers affirm that talks are going on with a prominent heroine to play the female lead role and official announcement would be made shortly in time along with the film’s official title and first look.
