Chiyaan Vikram and director Hari were supposed to come together for their upcoming film ‘Saamy 2’, the sequel to their yesteryear hit movie in 2003. The film is directed by Hari and it was supposed to feature Rakul Preet Singh in female lead role. But then after the official confirmations were made by Shibu Thameems during the audio launch of ‘Iru Mugan’, it all looked fading chances when Vikram constantly kept announcing new projects. He has already decided to go for simultaneous shoot of Vijay Chander’s untitled film and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. The latter film was supposed to take off before couple of years, when Suriya gave a nod and finally stepped out of the project on spur of moment. The actor has now decided to go for a long stretch of shooting, where Dhruva Natchathiram will start rolling near Ooty in January followed by Vijay Chandran project in February and then second schedule of Dhruva Natchathiram would commence by April, where 30-40 day schedule would be shot in London. According to the latest reports, the shooting of Saamy 2 will commence only after the completion of these projects.
