Following the magnum opus ‘I’, Vikram couldn’t make it bigger with his previous film ’10 Endrathukulla’, which turned out to be a box office disaster. The actor sooner started working on his new project titled ‘Iru Mugan’, which is directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Shibu Thameems, who earlier co-produced Vijay-Hansika Motwani-Shruthi Haasan starrer ‘Puli’.
The film’s shooting was supposed to take off earlier, but got delayed due to some reasons, which had to get away the already signed heroines – Kajal Aggarwal and Bindu Madhavi in female lead characters. They are now replaced by Nayantara and Nithya Menen, who have completed shooting their portions and the entire shoot wrapped up before few days.
The latest news is that the audio of this film composed by Harris Jayaraj would be released in July and according to the trade reports, the theatrical release is planned up for August 12 so as to make use of longer holiday in accordance to the Independence Day.
The film also features Karunakaran in an important role, who will be appearing throughout the film alongside Vikram. It is also worth mentioning that Vikram is appearing in dual avatars, where the title is signified as ‘Iru Mugan’, a Man with Two Faces.
