Filmmaker Vinoth made his debut directorial through the film ‘Sathuranga Vettai’, which turned to be a surprise winner in box office. The film happened to win critical acclaims and box office collections too, which happens to be the best ever production from Lingusamy of Thirrupathi Brothers. Soon after the film, he was supposed to direct Suriya in a movie produced by the same banner, but on the spur of moment, it was stalled off although Suriya liked the film’s script so much. It has now passed onto Karthi, which is titled ‘Theeran Adhyayam Ondru’. The film’s shooting has been rigorously proceeding at different parts of the country, especially in North India.
Speaking about the film and working experience with Karthi, Vinoth says, “We had shot the film continuously in North India for 45 days and there were hard times. Due to extreme climatic conditions, we would drain and when we all were fainting and exhausting, Karthi would be surprising us with ageless energy and it was really enthralling to see such positive vibes.”
The filmmaker adds that the movie is about the journey of DSP officer who goes to different parts of the country for unraveling a murder mystery.
