Just few more hours left for the grand release of ‘Chennai 600028 Second Innings’ and here is something that Jai, who is playing one of the lead roles has something to say. In his recent interaction with the media channels, the actor claims that he was the first one to go crazy with the concept of Venkat Prabhu’s plans to make the film’s sequel.
“It’s been 10 years and still the memories of playing cricket with our boys remain to be fresh and evergreen memories. I will be appearing as the same Raghu, who is a married man now, but with same nature. I am so much excited of teaming up with same friends and especially my friend Premgi Amaran, who has done the friend’s role and a best fielder as well,” jocularly adds Jai.
In 2007, Venkat Prabhu made his debut directorial through the movie Chennai 600028, which was a sensational and surprisal hit. The film’s sequel which is a reunion of the same boys, not men and most of them happily married will have a match to play. The movie will feature the same star-cast in addition to few more actors like Vaibhav, Mahat, etc.
