It was announced erstwhile that the censor of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali will happen on Monday. As soon as the news was spread out, many media channel reporters and Twitter bloggers took a note of it and managed to keep their sources ready at the existing preview theatres of Chennai so as to leak the news at the earliest. To everyone’s surprise, the censor happened at a much unexpected place – BOFTA Film Academy Preview Theatre owned by G Dhananjayan, who had earlier been a part of UTV Motion Pictures.
The running length of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is 2 hours 32 minutes and has been certified with ‘U’ hitting screens on July 22. The film is directed by Pa Ranjith and is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu with Radhika Apte playing the female lead role and star-cast that comprises of Dhansika, Attakathi Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan, John Vijay, Kishore, Nasser and many others.
